Would be interesting to know if there'll be anybody else at Eurocon 2011 who enjoys the study, use and creation of made-up languages.

A quick self-bio:
I've enjoyed making up words for as long as I can remember, and at around age nine or ten I started on a conlang with its own grammar (which I sadly have little record of, now). Later I started role-playing as a Half-Orc on an Ultime Online freeshard and through my frequent use of "Urk blah blah" (mostly gibberish with traces of the Black Speech of Mordor) developed an interest in Tolkien's languages. Nowadays my main game is Klingon (which I began studying shortly before I started watching Star Trek, when I still thought that Klingons were those pointy-eared guys), although I also try to squeeze in some Lojban. I'd like to get back to actually creating a language when I can find the time to do so.

This feels so exciting! This will likely be my first international Con. And the fact that it's on my 41th birthday too makes it my best birthday present ever! I can't wait to unwrap this package! :D
